Starting January 1, 2023, Ohio opened its doors to legal sports betting for individuals 21 and older who are physically in the state. Under HB 29, bets can be placed on a variety of events, including professional and college sports, Olympic competitions, motor races, horse races, and even esports – provided the esports participants are at least 18 years old.
