Saturday is the semifinals day in Rotterdam with two great matchups: 5th-seed Alex De Minaur vs 6th-seed Grigor Dimitov and world #4 Janik Sinner against hometown surprise Tallon Griekspoor.

Our tennis experts have two best bets for ATP Rotterdam, both of which can be made at our top rated sportsbooks.

Alex de Minaur vs Grigor Dimitrov Betting Prediction

Our first ATP Rotterdam betting preview pits two seeded players against each other, with Australia’s De Minaur taking on Dimitrov of Bulgaria.

These two have played each other four times going into the semifinal, each taking home two wins. They played the quarterfinal here in Rotterdam last year, where it was Dimitrov winning in a tight 6-3 3-6 7-6 battle.

On their other meeting on indoor hard courts, it was De Minaur that won a three-setter in the semifinals of Antwerp in 2020.

Alex de Minaur Current Form

In the quarterfinals, De Minaur was able to narrowly escape with a win over 5th-seeded Andrey Rublev as a +120 underdog. After winning the first set tiebreak, he lost the second 6-4 before edging the Russian 6-3 in the decider.

De Minaur cruised through the opening two rounds in Rotterdam, defeating Sebastian Korda 6-4 6-3 as a -200 favorite before beating David Goffin 6-3 6-1 as a -500 fav.

Before his loss to Rublev in Melbourne, Di Minaur had won six straight with wins over Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev and Taylor Fritz.

Grigor Dimitrov Current Form

Dimitrov was also in tight last match, beating Alexander Shevshenko 7-6 3-6 6-4 as a -500 favorite. All three matches this week have seen the Bulgarian enter as a heavy fav, as he was a -400 winner of Martin Fucsovics and -500 against Lorenzo Sonego.

Dimitrov is looking to make his second-straight final, as he once again beat lesser opposition in the early rounds of Marseille last week to reach the championship. However, he fell to Ugo Humbert in straight sets as a -175 favorite.

He has one title already this season, as he won Brisbane by dropping only one set in five matches, showing that he is playing solid tennis in the first two months of the season.

Alex de Minaur vs Grigor Dimitrov Betting Pick

Our best bet for Di Minaur vs Dimitrov is Over 23.5 Games -120 at Caesars Sportsbook.

All four of the matches these two have played have gone over 23.5 games, with three of them going to three sets.

Both players have been holding serve well and we expect that to continue on Saturday. Neither was able to secure a straight-sets victory in their last match, showing how breaks are not coming easily on the quick indoor surface.

With not much separating these two in terms of talent and form, we expect a hard-fought battle.

Janik Sinner vs Tallon Griekspoor Betting Prediction

Powered by

The evening gives us a rematch of last year’s Rotterdam semifinal, as top-seed Sinner is looking to end another great home run of Tallon Griekspoor.

Last year’s match saw both players serving well, with Sinner converting the only break point in the match to win 7-6 7-5. The pair also played in the Davis Cup last year, where Sinner once again was unbroken in a 7-6 6-1 victory.

Janik Sinner Current Form

Sinner’s blazing start to the season continues, as he’s now won all 11 matches to start the year.

The Australian Open champion was in tight against Canada’s Milos Raonic in the quarterfinals. The Italian was able to overcome the big server 7-6 in the first set, before the Canadian retired at 1-1 in the second due to back pain.

During his remarkable run this season, Sinner has only dropped four sets while winning 33 of them.

Tallon Griekspoor Current Form

The quarterfinals saw Griekspoor’s serve carry him once again, as he blasted 13 aces and only faced one break point against Emil Ruusuvuori in a 7-5 7-6 triumph.

He previously had a massive win over 4th-seeded Hubert Hurkacz of Poland 6-7 7-6 7-6 and was able to beat Lorenzo Musetti 3-6 7-6 7-6 in the first round.

The Australian Open saw him also play tight matches. The Dutchman beat Roman Safiullin in five sets and Arthur Fils in four before falling to young gun Arthur Cazaux in three sets.

Janik Sinner vs Tallon Griekspoor Betting Pick

Our best bet for this match Griekspoor +3.5 Games at +100 at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Sinner comes into this match as a massive -800 favorite, as the sportsbooks expect his amazing unbeaten streak to continute this year.

However, as shown in the first set against Raonic, he has not been able to find break points as easily as in Melbourne. With the hometown behind him and a big serve, we expect Griekspoor to keep this match close before eventually falling to the best player in tennis right now.
