Our experts deliver the best NBA bets for February 15 including Vince William props, Warriors/Jazz Totals and a Deandre Ayton Double-Double.
With only three matchups tonight, our experts have dug deep to find the best NBA bets for February 15.
The BetPreview experts break down the three best NBA bets for tonight’s games, including full NBA bet previews for the Bucks vs Grizzles, Warriors vs Jazz and Timberwolves vs Trail Blazers.
The Milwaukee Bucks are set to face the Minnesota Timberwolves this Thursday at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, with the game starting at 8:30 p.m. ET.
Sporting a 35-20 record, the Bucks currently sit in third place in the Eastern Conference but are coming off a tough 97-123 home loss to the Miami Heat on Tuesday. The Heat managed to contain Milwaukee’s stars, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, limiting them to a combined total of 39 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 assists, and an overall net rating of -48.
Since appointing Doc Rivers as the new head coach, following Adrian Griffin’s unexpected departure, the Bucks have recorded a 3-6 run. Their performance has been a mixed bag at home, securing a victory against the Denver Nuggets on Monday but falling to a depleted Heat team on Tuesday. Their road games have been challenging, with a 1-4 record and a -1.9 net rating, highlighting a significant drop in offensive and defensive efficiency post-coaching change.
On the other side, the Grizzlies, with a 19-36 record, are in the 13th spot in the Western Conference. They’re entering this game after a 121-113 victory over the Houston Rockets at home, marking their performance on the second night of a back-to-back series. GG Jackson II, coming off the bench, led the team with 20 points, nine rebounds, and three blocks.
The Grizzlies have faced difficulties, especially in the absence of key players Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, and Marcus Smart, leading to a 1-9 record in their last 10 games. This has put them in a precarious position, especially when facing a team like the Bucks, who excel in dominating the paint. Without significant defensive contributions from players other than Jackson, the Grizzlies might find it challenging to contain Milwaukee’s dynamic duo of Antetokounmpo and Lillard.
Vince Williams Jr. Over 16.5 Points + Assists -140 at DraftKings Sportsbook
We find this Vince Williams Jr. player prop to have a lot of value considering that Williams has reached at least 19 points + assists in each of his last four games. We expect that trend to continue in a high scoring game that should see him put up at least 14 points and 5 assists.
In his last 13 games, Williams is averaging 16.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.38 steals in 34.6 minutes while shooting 50.3% from the field and 42.3% from three-point range.
His stellar play in the past two months has earned Williams both a new contract with the Grizzlies and a spot in the Rising Stars game this weekend as he was named as a replacement for injured New Orleans Pelicans guard Dyson Daniels.
The Golden State Warriors are set for a showdown against the Utah Jazz this Thursday at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, with the game tipping off at 9 p.m. ET. This matchup serves as a sequel to the Warriors’ 129-107 victory over the Jazz on Monday with the Jazz looking for revenge heading into the All-Star break.
Currently sitting 10th in the Western Conference with a 26-26 record, the Warriors are coming off a tough 130-125 loss to the LA Clippers at home in the first of a back-to-back set. Despite outperforming the Clippers in field goals (53-44), the Warriors couldn’t bridge the gap created by the Clippers’ 29-13 advantage at the free-throw line. Steph Curry stood out with a game-high 41 points in the loss.
The Warriors have faced two consecutive games in this stretch but chose not to rest any key players for the second games, a strategy that paid off as they secured victories by at least 20 points in the first legs against the Philadelphia 76ers on February 7 (without Joel Embiid) and the Memphis Grizzlies on February 2.
The Jazz, sitting just a notch below the Warriors in the 11th spot with a 26-29 record, are trying to find their rhythm after a trio of consecutive losses to the LA Lakers, Phoenix Suns, and the Warriors. Their recent form shows a 4-6 record over the last ten games, indicating a pressing need to turn their fortunes around in this critical part of the season.
Over 237 Total Points -110 at FanDuel Sportsbook
With the Warriors on the second game a back-to-back and on the road, the biggest trend that we can see in this game is that their defense suffers the most. In their last four games in the second of a B2B, they have allowed at least 129 points three times.
However, that didn’t slow down their offensive production. Those games saw them score 130+ three times, pushing the total points well over the set total in those games. The Warriors will be running-and-gunning in full force tonight, while also giving up easy looks on the defensive end.
While the Jazz only put up 107 points in the last meeting between these two, they should get closer to the 120 mark today in a game where we believe both teams score over 120 points that goes down to the wire.
The Timberwolves have had Portland’s number this season, snagging wins in both previous matchups. They rolled past the Blazers with a 116-93 victory at home in January and didn’t let up, taking a 121-109 win on Portland’s turf just recently. Anthony Edwards was on fire last time, racking up 41 points on Tuesday.
Minnesota’s sitting pretty at the top of the Western Conference, and they’re not just there by chance. Their recent 121-100 smackdown of the LA Clippers was a clear message—they’re a force to be reckoned with.
Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers are going through some tough times, battling injuries and trying to find their footing in a rebuilding season. With just 15 wins under their belt, it’s been a rough ride, and things don’t look like they’re getting easier any time soon.
Portland’s lineup is looking a bit thin these days, with up to six players potentially out with injuries. Coach Chauncey Billups is likely to lean on Anfernee Simons, Matisse Thybulle, Jerami Grant, Toumani Camara, and DeAndre Ayton to try and turn the tide.
Deandre Ayton to Record a Double-Double +115 at BetMGM
Ayton has been a double-double machine in games where he has played 30+ minutes, recording over 10 points and 10 boards in six of those last eight games.
In his last two, he has dropped 22 points to go along with 16 rebounds against the Timberwolves and 18 points with 17 boards against the Pelicans.
With those totals in the last game these two teams met, it’s hard to see such a significant drop-off just a few days later. We were looking at a line of -120 for a double-double tonight, so we will take the value at +115.
